Apparently the late David Niven had a phrase often used in reference to govt and it's habit of meddling and f*cking up "Don't just do something, stand there!". If only they would.....Does Cooper know of the existence of heavy blunt objects lying around people's homes which could also be used as weapons? God its depressing being British right now....
"An endless succession of intertwined events, each influencing the other."
"That is hardly a satisfactory answer. I believe in cause and effect."
"Very well," said the Mulla, "Look at that." He pointed to a procession passing in the street."
"That man is being taken to be hanged. Is that because someone gave him a silver piece and enabled him to buy the knife with which he committed the murder; or because someone saw him do it; or because nobody stopped him?"
Let's not look at the knife wielder, obviously, as it's so much more difficult not to reach the conclusion that they and their culture are the problem which must be tackled head-on.
I'm sorry about Idris but it just goes to show we shouldn't give any credence to actors' opinions. Oh, or politicians', either
A blunt pointed knife will do MORE damage than a sharp pointed knife if wielded with sufficient force. Serrated edged knives had better also be banned because when you twist it after thrusting it into someone's belly, it leaves jagged edges that will be more difficult to treat. Anyone with an ounce of grey matter between their ears will know this is a futile effort!

How about things like my 8" by 1/8" instrument screwdriver, that's about as lethal as anything you could put your hand on?
Or my Napoleonic War boarding axe used for splitting logs?
Silly cow...
Absolutely laughable. What makes it embarrassing is they believe their nonsense. 😡🤯🤣

It does seem that several thousand years ago prior to there even being steel that humans still had no issues slaughtering each other en masse....
By logical extension you'll also need to cut down all the trees to save the children. Spears and pointy sticks you see....
They will soon be arresting chefs for handling WMDs.
As everyone knows by now, DEI really stands for Don't Expect Intelligence
