After being lied to about Gorebull warming for 40 years, my sometimes working BS meter went wait, what, a vax?! Vax that works for a cold? never happened. But, But, Trust US, we have an all new untested whizbang mRNA gizmo, safe and effective. Funny, the safety trial was spiked at 6 months.

you and I both are mystified by the fact that so many took the poison. That fact does not bode well for the human race in general and does not bode well for democracy.

What continues to astonish me, and frustrate the heck out of me, is that most of those people STILL believe taking the poison was the right thing to do, they still believe it saved lives. They turn a blind eye to VAERS, to excess deaths and disabilities, to the fact that those who had the most jabs have a higher rate of getting covid... etc. And it's because of this, that most people are still locked in to all the covid lies, it looks like Pharma, the FDA, CDC, DoD, and WHO are going to get away with the largest mass murder/mass maiming in human history.

Epidemic of cognitive dissonance or being lazy to want to just go along with group think. I am doing this for you. I wear my mask for you. I believe in the technology of man and have placed my full trust in science. Ain’t I a good girl and boy. Where’s my cookie and gold star? Me thinks we are groomed to obey parents, teachers, leaders, of course white coat doctors idols actors musicians the experts. Let them do my thinking. I am skating. I did not any of this shit after 2 weeks to flatten curve and gates saying we are going to vax 8 billion people. The Hell you are Billy fuck this. I was enraged awakened then still am. Me thinks compliance has been drilled

Into our heads, some heads are not accepting the bull shit because instincts override

“Why Are 'Vaccine' Refuseniks So Abnormally Normal?”

I agree with you as usual Jaime but let us first define “Normal” using a non-triggering example not ‘Vaccine Refuseniks’. I also won’t use the term “bell curve’ but it is inferred.

Some also lately have begun to define ‘vaccine refuseniks’ as ‘Lucky”.

Not me, I was angry, I do not believe in Luck.… how could so many intelligent people be so easily fooled?

Critical thinking, intelligent reasoning and debate, became criminalized and the fashion was to bleat like a sheep and follow the Judas Goat into the slaughter pens. That was the new normal

Peak anger for me came on March 13, 2020, yeah Friday the 13th. That was the day they canceled the London Marathon. I had spent 3 years becoming qualified for that event and was finally accepted and then boom. I had 6 round trip airline tickets to London, 3 rooms reserved at the St James Court near the Buckingham Palace and the finish line.

The other runners who had inspired me to run were coming with me as my guests to watch me run, walk and crawl with 50,000 others.

‘What price glory’

I know, I know, how selfish can I be? Self-centered jerk, only caring about myself when people everywhere were catching cold and sneezing!!!

Heck, they soon canceled the world.

It was a mystery to me that 192 nations from all around the world suddenly began to sing the same song, dance the same dance, and march in step down the street… well, their leaders did anyway.

Were they our leaders or were they someone else’s followers?

How many religions are there in the world? “Over 4,000 religions”

How long would you think it should take to convert one believer of a major religion to another one? A day, a week, a month, a lifetime?

Who would wager that it would take but weeks to convert them all, most of them not all, to the newest one, “Science” or “The Science” as the politicians and the snake oil salesmen and saleswomen liked to chant.

How was it done in weeks? Shut down business, lock down the people, close the schools, close the churches and order everyone to “stay safe at home”.

And most of them did.

I used to believe that I was a top salesman who could charm or sell anyone but I was only able to save three (3) people from accepting the ‘jab’.

Not for lack of trying. But just 3 people.

“Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in…” except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.” Churchill

Maybe their ‘convictions of honour’ overwhelmed my personal knowledge and beliefs and my convictions were not fashionable.

Anyway, that failure on my part, to convince more people to ‘just say no’ troubles me still.

“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so” Shakespeare; Hamlet.

Yeah, easy for him to say.

Well, I could rant on for hours but it sounds like someone is trying to break down my door, gotta run!

And as always do not take medical advice from a jerk without credentials who inappropriately quotes Shakespeare.

And thank you again Jaime for another provocative essay.

I'm pretty sceptical about most things, but even I was suckered into taking the first two jabs. My naive thinking was that that once the vulnerable (supposedly like me) had been jabbed, the whole scare would fizzle out. It was only when they announced that they wanted to jab everyone that I began to smell a rat. That and The Diamond Princess.

I'm away from home at the moment with limited resources so it's difficult to check what sceptical media was available in the early days. When did Lockdown Sceptics even get started? When did The Conservative Woman become sceptical? When did the contra Substack articles start?

Given that the entire MSM was primed in advance (plandemic pre-planning) to turn the fearmongering up to the max, it wasn't easy to go against the grain.

People choose to delegate the responsibility of thought. This is at there peril, and people go along with it because 'it has not killed them...yet'.

This is encouraged by the endless propaganda from sales and media.

Many folks just don't care. I know that most people round here got jabbed so they could keep going to the pub or the football. People generally just do whatever the pack is doing. It cuts right across the social spectrum. Some people are discerning and critical - a minority but most just go along to get along and they will happily tell you as much if you ask them.

It is hard to comprehend and none of this has made me understand my fellow man any more.

I also refused - I am in Belgium where the campaign was run like a military exercise but once I said ‘thank you, but no thank you’ no-one ever bothered me again except for the suggestion that it still wasn’t too late

to get vaccinated once I had had covid,

at which time the young man on the phone got a message to pass on to his superiors! Of course punishment was dished out to us non-compliant in the form of the EU Digital Green Certificate - yes, the same EU that has just partnered up with the

WHO because, yes, it was all such a success!

I have had chronic fatigue for many years and I firmly believe that one of these jabs would have maimed me or worse. I was certainly not going there and luckily had the rarity of a doctor who echoed my concerns.

One of my greatest disappointments is that so many I know wouldn’t do exactly the same thing given the same situation - they have learnt nothing!

That's my concern too. We are still in the minority. If they try the same thing again, millions of people will just line up once again to take their 'medicine'. Maybe a few more than last time will be less inclined to do so, but still not enough.

The problem is that most people trust that their doctors ask all the right questions, and thoroughly investigate drugs and medications before prescribing them.

I assume doctors don’t. So I don’t go to them.

You may as well ask why all those young men signed up so eagerly to have their heads blown off in WW1 (one of them was my great uncle). I think you're looking for an answer that is backed up by some kind of rigorous theory - one which makes definite and falsifiable predictions. Unfortunately, psychology hasn't got anywhere near where physics got to several hundred years ago. It's a much harder problem. We need a Hari Seldon!
