Why Are 'Vaccine' Refuseniks So Abnormally Normal?

Equally, you could ask the question: why are ‘normal’ people so confoundingly abnormal? I’ll address the headline question, because it applies to me personally.

The impetus for writing this post comes from reading this:

A Pfizer shot. A failed heart. A transplant. Get vaxxed again?

John Berndsen was among masses inoculated under what Dr. Peter McCullough calls “the worst pharmaceutical development idea in the history of mankind.” It cost him his heart.

John Berndsen is just a normal, regular guy, who actively sought ‘vaccination’ with an experimental, novel ‘vaccine’ because it ‘seemed like the thing to do’:

When John Berndsen sought out a covid vaccine at a local Walgreen’s in 2021, it seemed the thing to do. Everyone was talking about getting the shots, even having to “scurry around” to find them. His was “definitely a compromised heart,” he said, and he wanted to protect it. He did not tell Leslie, who thought it could harm, not help, him. 

Well, he’s not that normal now, because after spending months in hospital due to a failing heart (temporally and almost certainly causatively linked to his single mRNA ‘vaccination’), he survives only because someone else’s heart beats within his chest cavity. That’s a high price to pay for doing what ‘seemed like the thing to do’. It’s a high price for him personally, but also for society in general, because of the huge costs of his care and the loss of full, healthy function of what was once a reasonably healthy member of the community who previously suffered heart problems yes, but who had apparently overcome those problems with the help of medical intervention and a healthy lifestyle.

What was it that made Berndsen so excessively, so sheepishly ‘normal’ that he suspended rational judgement and ignored available warnings - particularly early reports of concerning cardiovascular adverse reactions to ‘vaccination’ - in order to place himself at risk by ‘doing the right thing’? Why was he so convinced that he was uniquely vulnerable? Why did he not take the time before rushing to get ‘vaccinated’ to do some elementary research which would have told him that the supposed ‘threat’ of Covid infection was being greatly overplayed and the safety, effectiveness and necessity of vaccination, even in supposedly ‘high risk’ (but otherwise healthy) individuals like himself was very much in question? Why did he ignore the red flag of the aggressive marketing of these Covid ‘vaccines’? Alarm bells should have been ringing inside his head. Why did he ignore them in order to blindly follow the crowd?

I still can’t fathom it, even after ‘mass formation’ and numerous other theories advanced to explain the hysteria which gripped nations transfixed by fear of Covid and Covid restrictions, who willingly jumped at the ‘cure’ offered up by Big Pharma in league with governments worldwide. OK, many were faced with the choice of losing their job or their education if they did not get jabbed, but many millions more just queued up obligingly to get the shots ‘to protect themselves and others’, simply because it ‘seemed like the thing to do’. Well, FFS, that’s precisely why we are where we are today - up shit creek without a paddle, looking at millions upon millions of crippling injuries and huge increases in excess deaths, even a ‘pandemic’ of cognitive disfunction:

I would argue that the cognitive disfunction, manifesting as mass cognitive dissonance, occurred before the worrying rise in medically diagnosed cognitive problems and probably caused that worrying increase. The damage was done before Covid and before the mass ‘vaccination’ campaigns.

About 20% of people in the UK chose to hold out against the extreme, aggressive, coercive mass ‘vaccination’ program. 80% complied. Not many were mandated to get jabbed. I am one of those ‘anti-vaxxer refuseniks’. I’m normal, but I fall into the category of ‘abnormal’ simply because I am in a minority. What makes me so infuriatingly normal? Why did I ignore repeated requests by my GP to get jabbed, to the point of slamming the phone down the last time they tried to hassle me? Because I informed myself of the relative risks vs. benefits, that’s why. I suffered a spontaneous coronary arterial dissection in 2016, linked to medically undiagnosed high blood pressure. My GP knew this. Unlike John Berndsen, this made me less inclined to get ‘vaccinated’ with an experimental medication increasingly being linked to cardiovascular adverse reactions. But my GP saw it differently - ‘protect yourself and others’ they assured me. That wasn’t individually tailored health care; that was hard sell. I saw it, immediately. If I had listened to the ‘experts’ I seriously think I might not now be around to be writing this diatribe.

Two years later, I am still mystified as to why being normal should be such a minority characteristic. I am unconvinced by all the explanations I have read so far.
