The ~60 year North Atlantic Oscillation has recently changed to its negative phase which will certainly lead to a reduction in the warming tendency (if any), Solar Cycle 25 has commenced and there is already a noticeable reduction leading to an increase in cosmic ray particles impinging on the atmosphere which according to Svensmark will lead to an increase in cloud cover hence albedo due to increased nucleation, both of there will tend to reduce the temperature.
It is my opinion that there are already signs that the Earth has entered a cooling phase, not just from my observations of the data but also due to a recent tendency towards ass-covering by increasing numbers of “climate scientists”, there have already been admissions that the models have been running hot and are not as trustworthy as hoped, and now this, which admits that the science isn’t as settled as was previously claimed:
I expect that in ten years or so it will be difficult to find a "climate scientist" who admits to having believed in the AGW hoax, they will have segued into peddling an Ice Age scare as seamlessly as they changed from that to theAGW hoax in the late 1970s, and most reference to AGW will have been expunged from the Internet as were Ice Age references by the likes of "Stoat" Connelly and his ilk.
I think it's the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation which has now peaked and is heading downwards. NAO is more variable from year to year but generally tends to trend along with the AMO. I used to be quite convinced that we were heading into a Grand Solar Minimum, but I'm not so sure now, as Solar Cycle 25 is turning out to be a lot more active than was predicted. SC26 was predicted to be even weaker still. I'm not convinced that's going to happen now, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I have just been informed that last night the aurora borealis was visible much farther south than usual in the UK, indicating a higher number of cosmic ray particles.
I live in the Yorkshire Dales and have only rarely seen the lights, even before the massive expansion of street lighting destroyed the very dark nights, recently the lights have been increasingly common this far south...
Ah yes, the absurdity of unilateral climate change mitigation strategies, even assuming that those strategies work on their own merits, even assuming that dangerous man-made climate change is real and significant and in one direction only and that natural climate change mysteriously cancels itself out over all timescales, as claimed by the IPCC. It's a shame that KK appears to believe in the myth that if we all adopt 'clean energy', then we can 'stop' climate change.
Human-caused climate change is a dangerous LIE that keeps people in poverty and reduces the quality of life for everyone except the elites who make money on that lie. The answer to poverty is not redistribution of wealth through ESG, it is freedom and truth. You are so right! KK has a little bit of the facts, but until he understands that man has no real influence on climate change, the lie continue on. (Try to stop volcanoes, sun spots, and solar flares. Maybe Bill Gates will come up with a plan since he seems to run everything no.) Thanks for your great work!
They will never surrender, they are a fear driven cult with members addicted to the power they have accrued, the wealth, and the privilege.
Jaime, I know you are British but you remind me of Joan of Arc, leading a battle of reluctant non-warriors in a good fight against the tyranny. I know, I know, another one of my butchered metaphors because Joan of Arc was French fighting the British…but I believe that you are a cultural warrior leading the fight against the ones who would destroy British cultural heritage, French cultural heritage, and all the rest in the name of a New World Order.
They are meeting in Davos, Switzerland this week, to divide up the goodies. The plan seems to be that they will have heat in their homes, food in their kitchens, cars in their garages, airplanes and boats and all that while we have nothing.
We serfs will not be able to travel or have any freedoms.
I like adventure, I like to travel, I visited Brittan and France three times in 2019. I spent Easter at St George’s Castle in Windsor, actually had Easter Service with your Queen Elizabeth whom I have always admired and respected. Trains every day up to London for the museums. I finally got to see the Rosetta Stone. I believe we rode 21 trains that trip. Every day was an adventure.
We returned again to London, in August, flew into Gatwick and rented a Jaguar diesel turbo-charged SUV…which was cool at 140 kilometers per hour on the wrong side of the freeway, your M23 then M25. I regret now that I never popped the hood, just took it for granted.
How long will it still be possible to do that? To fly into Gatwick from the colonies, rent a cool car, and freely tour England?
I think the best trip was the Christmas trip to Paris. It was my third trip to Paris and I discovered what was going to be my “favorite hotel in Paris”, The Hotel du Louvre. Amazing hotel but the best feature was the location, walk to the Louvre Museum, the Eifel Tower and the Cathedral of Notre Dame, which had burned at Easter of that year. It was still an incredible trip.
Three trips, forty-five days of adventure. Just because we could.
“Bah Humbug” to their “New World Order” that sounds like it will bring back the 1700’s or perhaps the 1600’s before the great plague in 1666 when the serfs were still bonded to the land.
Ebenezer Scrooge said it best, “Bah Humbug” to their “New World Order” to their new Christmas Story that harms so many innocents.
They're definitely not giving up and I'm definitely not giving up calling out their BS, although flattering as your Jeanne d'Arc comparison is, my defiance of the powers that be is as nothing compared to the bravery and determination of that lady, who rightly earned her Saintly accolade.
This paper was published in November 2022:
"Heat conditions in North America in summer 2021 exceeded previous heatwaves by margins many would have considered impossible under current climate conditions. Associated severe impacts highlight the need for understanding the physical drivers of the heatwave and relations to climate change, to improve the projection and prediction of future extreme heat risks."
I often wonder if these “science” writers are just too ignorant and ill-informed to understand that they are writing nonsense, or if, rather, they’re counting on the ignorance of their readers to swallow their absurdities.
Delusional to the point of bald-faced lies! I live in the Pacific Northwest and 116 F degrees this last summer was ridiculously promoted as fact. I think someone put the thermometer in their coffee cup. Very few people have air conditioning in this area. People were not dying like flies nor was it even hot enough to cause discomfort for a few of my long wool sheep that hadn’t been shorn yet. I think they take temperature readings on top of high rises in Portland and Seattle, and cherry pick readings. The climate creeps are giddy when there are forest fires in the PNW as they can claim global warming is the reason.
The AGW hoax is on its last legs.

Interesting!
There is so much to learn! Thank you for sharing.
Jaime, did you see this speech by Konstantin Kisin? https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/best-video-climate-change-you-will-ever-see

It's just as absurd as the rest and I'll be pointing this out in a future post.
Thank you for exposing the fraud.

I suspect some of each.
My thoughts too. They are as stupid as they are malign and they stupidly think their readers are just as stupid as they are, or pretend to be.
Agree, this is totally incoherent and delusional. Another limited hangout the media are being forced into.
