I mean, come on. Are we that stupid? Ditch your ‘smart’ phone guys, or at least disable government alerts which are automatically set to opt-in for the gormless and the dim-witted. The UK government plans to test its nationwide ‘emergency’ alert system on the 23rd April, St George’s Day.
Can't be difficult, surely. What got me is the fact that if you leave them on, then you can't use your phone until you 'acknowledge' the alert. Sounds ever so slightly fascist to me.
