Wow, a modern Christmas horror story. It is not just conjuring up a ghost of pseudo-now, it is also burying the undead knowable past and shackling the spirit of foreseeable future. All this, to justify their own lucrative and glamorous present. This is the worst kind of fantasy to enslave the mind, but, I am afraid the church of scientism has many converts. I am sure the high priests of that unholy church gets paid overtime, to churn their modelling magics, to scare the populace into mindless, self-harming subservience to their every demand.

Further, we should be skeptical of whatever data they do provide. Long have the weather reports been too hot compared to actual observations. I used to drive to work, leaving home around daybreak in the winter. On a great many occasions, there would be ice in a gardening tub between the front door and the car when the weather report said in only got done to 5 degrees Celsius. Sometimes lower but rarely not 0. Water does not freeze at 5 degrees at sea level.

He didn't respond to my queries on land management upstream, man made changes to the culvert nor downstream blockages. For him a river which was in flood was sufficient evidence of AGW. He's a professor of idiocy.
In any event, blowing the 1.5°C threshold was supposed to be a point of no return wasn't it? So the fact that Hansen and others think we're already there means it's too late doesn't it? When I look round at what is happening though I can't help but think there is nothing wrong with 1.5 and I'll bet anyone that 2, 2.5, 3 and even 4 have no effect on us.

Here we are approaching 2024, with no significant fall, yet nobody in the climate cartel highlighting these or any other contributory events. It’s from what they don’t say that makes their professional integrity questionable.
