Hi Caroline, I purchased 99.9% pure Fenbendazole on Amazon. 250g pack. It works out much cheaper overall. Tragically, Alfa didn't make it. The cancer didn't respond to treatment. Soft tissue cancers may be different. But this was an aggressive bone cancer. I miss her every single day.
Thank-You again for this information and I really do feel your pain and loss, it just rips your heart ❤️ out..Ripple has a mate called Jake, another standard and they are a couple..but we have to think that in the wild the sick or weaker within the pack would be looked after by the pack until there was no more to be done..certainly this is the case with wolves and African dog packs..Alfa is with you in spirit and remember you are never alone Xxx
Hi Jaime am sorry 😔 to hear this but at least you tried, sarcoma’s are usually very aggressive and metastasise to lungs (in humans) - I know of a standard poodle who had something similar to Alfa..devasting for such a large dog to get this. Unfortunately cancers in dogs is on the increase and am very careful not to over vaccinate etc as this comprises the immune system. Kibble is another big no go as it rots teeth and the disguised sugar feeds cancer so I feed raw food..I will let you know how Ripple responds to the Fenben and wishing you a Merry Christmas Regards Caroline
Hello I am also researching panacur for use in treating a mammary tumour in my 10 year old stand poodle. She has had excisions of 2 previous breast tumours and we have decided that she is not having anymore surgery. We are going down the panacur route along with using Turkey Tail which causes cancer cellular death.
We hope that Alfa is still with you and just wondered how things were progressing for you?
These are the people. I bought the powder and yes I think it is cheaper! Also, it needs to be taken with fat. I put mine on butter or tallow, but some take it with full fat yoghurt and it seems to work fine.
So sorry to hear about your doggy. Having had a pack of 3, we know how fab, silly and part of the family they are. Wishing you all the best, I hope you find some soon. 'Best of British luck', to you.
and ps, on the meat and fat only diet. My wife (breast cancer 2017, "cured", scans clear, missed 2020, Covid hell hospital hell) and I went carnivore in late 2020. Thanks to her appalling treatment at the RUH in Bath (they let her cancer metastasise - then told her her follow up would be a mammogram despite knowing that). 6 to 9 months to live, they said, Dec 2021. Scans every 6 months
Not one scan since the diagnosis has shown a single more lesion, or change. Stopped the cancer in its tracks, and YouTube confirms she is by no means alone. Alfa may already be on a raw meat diet, but if not well worth trying, just make sure lots of animal fat as well. Many do not realise that not only is meat superb nutrition, animal fat is needed to make a tip top metabolism! Butchers often sell dripping
Just to let everyone know, if you're ordering Panacur online to use for any purpose other than worming, then don't tick 'other' because they will ask you what you're using it for and then won't approve the order. Vet Pharmacy just did this to me, so I won't use them ever again and I've ordered from another company instead. Big Pharma doesn't want you curing yourself or your pets by repurposing their drugs.
Wow, thank you all so much for your wonderful, helpful and supportive comments. Dr Jones' high dose regimen for Alfa would be 1.75g single dose daily for 3 consecutive days per week. Panacur 4.5g dog sachets contain 1g fen so I'd need to feed her 1,75 sachets x 3 each week = 5.25 per week. So just under three weeks supply would be 15 = 5 x £9 = £45 at Vet Pharmacy (thanks Azra), which will last me until I can get the larger 250g powder delivered from US.
Definitely a symbiotic relationship Jeremy. My dogs have given me so much joy and happiness over the years. But because they live such relatively short lives, you end up walking wounded. There are far too many canine-shaped holes in this weary soul of mine.
Not kidding. We still mourn our first dog, Pig (looked like a piglet when first we saw him at 3 weeks - curly tail, pink belly, snout) now gone three years, But he was so lovely we wanted his pups. And got them - five; we kept one, and friends took the others - so Bear (yup .... big head, big chest, rolled like a bear cub) gets see some of his siblings. Just had his sister and nephew for 10 days; they are SO happy to be together.
Yes, dreading him going. But we'll get another. Friend said to me way back - dogs make us better people. And I agree. Fingers crossed for your beauty, Jaime
Not hopeful tbh. I've just researched bone tumours and they are extremely aggressive and painful. Will just take things one day at a time. Vet said 13 for a Shepherd was very rare, but most of my long stay Sheps have lived beyond 13, and I was expecting my little Alfalfa sprout rescue from Romania to be the same. Life (and death sometimes) comes at you fast.
Bless her. She'll know you are looking after her. Our beloved Pig died the day after his 14th birthday (Patterdale x Border Collie, getting the best of both breeds); my brother and his wife were up from London, and he adored them. Another friend who's known Pig from when he was a puppy turned up. Pig over the moon. Did his "I really LOVE you" manoeuvre - would jump up on the table, go to whoever, sit down and look deep into their eyes.
Started supper. He had a stroke. Went peacefully at the vets with us sobbing our hearts out, vets too. But so good he had such a lovely day before heading off to chase deer elsewhere...
However much you give a dog, you'll get so much more back. Pig's buried under a climbing rose (and his buddy, Poppy, a scatty Lurcher mutt) under another. Chat with them both when I'm gardening there...
Bear had five years with his Dad. Not many pups get a dad to hang with. Blue for a good couple of months when he went.
Will give link to get Fenben as and when. Think my wife gets it from Estonia. Not too hard to get that's for sure. Friend of my wife, just diagnosed with breast cancer mentioned to her consultant. Her reply - not "No no no", but "Wait till you've dome your chemo".
If you read the recommended doses on brands such as Panacure C, the dosage per weight of the dog is a wide range, probably because Fenbendazole is incredibly safe. I've been taking Fenbendazole, Ivermectin, and several other supplements for cancer prevention for the last 6 months with zero side effects.
Here's a video specifically about Fenben for dogs with cancer.
Hi Jaime, I am sorry to hear this. Dr. William Makis on Substack frequently has information about Fenben and Ivermectin....perhaps he can be a lead? (and perhaps he is listed in the comments below). Good luck.
I have checked on ebay and found this supplier of FemBen and they have good reviews - 100% - here's the link:-https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/205146348998?_skw=Fenbendazole+222mg+Purity+99.9+by+Fenben+Lab+COA+Included+90+Capsules&itmmeta=01JG1C1BKETR3X55PK9K3V2MAJ&hash=item2fc3acddc6%3Ag%3A5Q4AAOSwindnLot7&var=505863449879
Hope this helps one and all..Regards Caroline

Merry Christmas to you too. Good luck with Ripple.

Oh dear, I'm very sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting us know. Where did you end up obtaining some from?
Hyperdrug, though I suspect they're all the same. Just lie and say it's for multiple dogs worming.

Jaime,
Hope it all works out. We're dog crazy too, and are convinced that we and dogs are symbiotic!

Yes, it either 'their way or the highway' with the NHS.

I hope that you are able to obtain fenbendazole (and ivermectin) for your beloved Alfa as soon as possible. 🙏
I'm really sorry to hear about your dear Alfa.

Also see this information: "Synergistic pairing of ivermectin and fenbendazole found HIGHLY EFFECTIVE at preventing and treating cancer" https://www.2ndsmartestguyintheworld.com/p/synergistic-pairing-of-ivermectin
I will keep looking for a UK supplier.
My wife is using it. Have forwarded this to her

I have an excellent protocol for human treatment that might be helpful as well, but I don't know how to include a pdf file in these comments.
