If anyone can give me any advice on the use of Fenbendazole for cancer treatment in dogs, or point to any, it would be appreciated. I’m not sure about the correct dose/protocol.
.Alfa was at the vets today and the ultrasound scan revealed a large tumour on her hip which appears to be fast growing and aggressive. She may only have weeks. I’ve searched online for Fenbendazole powder/tablets and I believe she may need a dose of at least 1000mg daily. She’s a 35kg German Shepherd. The problem is, delivery is not until September. I really need it now. Anyone know a supplier who can deliver in next few days to UK address? Amazon can only deliver 30x444mg capsules in that time. Ebay supplies come from Ukraine and will take weeks. Has anyone out there treated their dog successfully for cancer with this drug? I’ve read of some success stories with humans, even stage 4 cancers.
Just want to do all I can for my girl. She’s 13 in November. Was hoping she would see at least another year or two. This has been quite a shock.
Wow, thank you all so much for your wonderful, helpful and supportive comments. Dr Jones' high dose regimen for Alfa would be 1.75g single dose daily for 3 consecutive days per week. Panacur 4.5g dog sachets contain 1g fen so I'd need to feed her 1,75 sachets x 3 each week = 5.25 per week. So just under three weeks supply would be 15 = 5 x £9 = £45 at Vet Pharmacy (thanks Azra), which will last me until I can get the larger 250g powder delivered from US.
Thank you all again!
Much love.
Just to let everyone know, if you're ordering Panacur online to use for any purpose other than worming, then don't tick 'other' because they will ask you what you're using it for and then won't approve the order. Vet Pharmacy just did this to me, so I won't use them ever again and I've ordered from another company instead. Big Pharma doesn't want you curing yourself or your pets by repurposing their drugs.
