I had a feeling it must've dropped to lower category cos not heard a peep about it today, yet yesterday they wouldn't shut up, car radio as no tv. I'm glad it did for the people in Florida

A couple of thoughts: (1) Artificial manipulation does not imply "control" -- just tampering and destruction; a feature of nefarious global players. (2) We don't know the extent or nature of the technologies at work, should that be the case. By definition, such tech would be top secret and any info the common people have would be relatively primitive in comparison (e.g. cloud seeding, HAARP).

so I take it that you believe Milton was not geo-engineered? That is, it occurred naturally?

Me, I have no idea. the government's been doing weather mod stuff for decades, but it seems unlikely they could just create a hurricane and/or steer a hurricane (as the geo-eng crowd believes they did with Helene)

Do you know how the sea surface temps in the Gulf compare to previous years? Once again, Hunga Tonga could be part of the cause, no?

Gulf of Mexico SST rose quite rapidly from March 2023 and broke records that year, which I think have been broken again in 2024. It follows the pattern of rapid and sudden warming seen elsewhere so Hunga Tonga might well be the cause. As I say, Helene and Milton have been unusual in many respects (but not unprecedented), unique in a few respects (but the reliable record is quite short). There is no reason to suspect that they are 'outside the range of natural variability' for such storms and certainly not, as some idiot on X is saying, "inextricably linked to climate change."

thanks! So with very high sea surface temps in the Gulf, it's not too surprising that a powerful hurricane like Milton would result. And yes, when talking about something like climate change our records are incredibly short, maybe a hundred and fifty years or so compared to the tens of thousands of years of changing climate over time.

The climate change fanatics are the new vaccine pushers. Will we ever be free of control freaks who want to tell us all what to do? sigh.... :-\

What we need is real scientific method and real open minds.

I think it's fantastic that people are starting to research the decades long weather modification operations and programs. Even if it isn't happening on these last two. More people waking up to these op's the better. I think lol. Maybe that is what they want. Either way they have been messing with rain and snow mainly for decades. People should know this. And it used to be ok to talk about it.

Cloud seeding operations are a matter of public record. But claiming that the Feds are rapidly intensifying and steering monster storms by microwaving the sky is just plain silly! Dane Wiggington is a clown and a charlatan. Far too many people take him seriously because he spins a good yarn which sounds vaguely sciency.

I see what you mean. We'll see if it's silly in the future.

Do you remember that quote by some pres or VIP from USA - Control the weather and control the world - to paraphrase. I should look up the exact quote sometime again.

Anyways, I like Jim Lee's work. And my point was that cloud seeding was ridiculed too not long ago. It's only recently been somewhat accepted.

I get the impression that the weather people seem to be making a crisis out of every bit of weather. The Met Office issues amber and red warnings every time it forcasts rain. If we're going to get a bit of warm weather, it's another amber or red warning. It's just weather and always has been. I think they're trying to disguise the fact that it isn't getting warmer any more and their predictions of a firey doom is slipping away.
