'When We Were Growing Up, Contrails Formed And Dispersed Quickly'
This is the claim made by chemtrail conspiracy theorists as justification for stating that modern ‘chemtrails’ consist of chemicals being sprayed from commercial or military aircraft, not the contrails of yesteryear, when skies were blue and humans weren’t being sprayed like bugs and geo-engineering and weather modification was not a global enterprise. Well, I found a website called contrailscience.com which examines this claim and provides the photographic and documentary evidence that it just isn’t true. No doubt the website, which was set up more than 10 years ago, has been ‘debunked’ and the author(s) labelled as government shills trying to cover up a worldwide crime against humanity and the environment, because chemtrail theories have increased exponentially in popularity and influence since then. But facts is facts as they say, and the truth remains the truth even though telling a lie again and again and again reinforces it in the minds of the vulnerable, such that it obscures the truth.
Persistent contrails at about 28,000 feet formed by the engines of fighters and bombers were recorded during WW2 over the skies of London. Here are some of the photos:
28,000 feet is lower than the typical cruise altitude of 30,000 to 42,000 feet of most modern commercial jets, but it’s still cold enough for engine exhausts to precipitate ice crystal vapour trails. So Londoners were being sprayed like bugs in the 1940s and it probably explains why England’s climate cooled significantly from the 1950s to the late 1970s with all that geo-engineering going on overhead. The second coldest winter since 1659 happened over 1962/1963 and that was almost certainly due to the chemtrail spraying operations during WW2. Dane Wiggington of GeoEngineering Watch would probably tell you that - he’s an expert on modern severe winters caused by chemtrails.
Then when actual commercial jet aircraft made their debut in the late 1950s, people in Palm Springs weren’t too happy, because their previously crystal clear blue skies were being messed up by aircraft trails:

We get a fair number of flights overhead and vapour trails are usually visible (on the few days we're not clouded over!). Most of them hang around for a while but some aircraft leave no trail. I assume that's down to the differing humidity of the atmosphere at different altitudes.
If I remember correctly, a few decades ago experts were afraid that all those vapour trails would lead to global cooling and we'd have a new ice age.
I don't pay much attention to experts any more.
