Hopefully not spoiling Part 2, but in case you've not seen it.

That's interesting. Doesn't spoil my Part II at all. As usual, Cliff zeroes in on the proximate causes of the conditions which made the fires so devastating. The global warming freaks argue that the Hawaiian Islands have become hotter and drier because of climate change. Whereas it is true that in the 21st century, droughts have become more frequent and severe, the attribution to climate change is BS.

If anyone has access to check out the GOES satellite imagery from last Wednesday, I'd be curious to see if all those fires in Hawaii popped off all at once, just like they did up in Canada. I tried checking myself, but how convenient... the image production from that satellite is currently down. Gee, imagine that.

"GOES-West - Hawaii - Fire Temperature - We are working to restore image production as quickly as possible. Please refer to the other GOES imagery sites listed on our resources page. Thank you for your patience"

All through the 1980s we used to drive down to the south of France for our family summer holidays. Almost every year we encountered massive, scary wildfires, often with Bombadier firefighting planes scooping up water from the sea to drop on the fires. Nobody suggested that these fires were due to global warming. They were put down to lightning strikes, human accident or pyromaniacs.

Four decades on with local temperatures a fraction of a degree higher it is as absurd now as it would have been then to blame these wildfires on global warming. We can’t let the propagandists get away with implying that there is a wildfire spontaneous ignition point based on marginally-higher temperatures.

Francis Menton of the Manhatton Contrarian recently posted “Wildfires And Climate Change: Narrative Ever More Detached From Actual Evidence”. It contains a couple of killer graphics to show there is indisputably no correlation between the incidence of wildfires and alleged man-made global warming: https://www.manhattancontrarian.com/blog/2023-6-16-wildfires-and-climate-change-narrative-ever-more-detached-from-actual-evidence.

The unfortunate failure of the warning sirens probably didn't help.

"Hawaii fires latest: Deadly flames overtook town 'without warning' as death toll rises to 55

Hawaii emergency management records show no indication that warning sirens were triggered before a devastating wildfire killed at least 55 people and wiped out a historic town."

MSM (I believe it was WSJ) reported not long ago that 84% of all wildfires are human caused. NOT caused by climate change. "Human caused" means carelessness with a campfire, carelessness with a cigarette butt, carelessness with sparks when using gas powered equipment, or deliberately starting a fire, etc.

I'd be interested to know how even 1% of wildfires can be CAUSED by climate change!

that's been my complaint every time I've read an article re the fires. They insinuated climate change is to blame, but they never mention--or even ask the question--WHO started the fires? And why?

Earlier this year 26 fires (if I remember the count correctly) started on the same day within hours of each other in southern Ontario and Quebec in an area hundreds of miles across on a blue sky day, no lightning. One deranged individual could not have done this. These fires were all started by a GROUP of people in a coordinated effort. I have a few questions about this for the lying liars at the media:

1) Why wasn't every MSM shouting this from the rooftops, that so many fires started across hundreds of miles on the same day, a blue sky day when lightning could not have been the cause?

2) Why didn't the MSM point out that this was a deliberate effort and had to have been done by a GROUP of eco-terrorists?

3) Why hasn't the MSM continue to write about this, ask law enforcement why haven't these criminals been caught?

This is definitely my latest, most favourite conspiracy theory - that groups of arsonists are being PAID to light wildfires, or that they're doing it for 'the greater good' to prove to the world that the 'world is on fire' because of climate change and that it's way past time that that we did something about it. I'm really hoping that it's just a pet conspiracy theory of mine which will turn out to have absolutely no basis in fact, because I really wouldn't want to believe that human beings could be so evil, so deluded, so utterly deranged and psychopathic as to cause mass destruction of the environment and murder millions of innocent animal plus other human beings just so they can convince the world that 'climate change is real'.

Before covid, I wouldn't have believed that humans could be so utterly deranged and psychopathic, but the covid injections have shown us all that humans CAN BE and indeed ARE that deranged and psychopathic.

Antifa arsons for creating fires. Anything for the cause of climate crisis. We really have a moral crisis of evil that befriends fire and is willing to burn the whole place down, so they can promote their agenda. Horrific.

yes and they obviously don't care if their fires kill people. It's all for the Greater Good.

This is a modern variant on an old religious trick.

Old version: Bad acts are caused by evil people and poor discipline AND ORIGINAL SIN.

New version: Fires are caused by evil arsonists and poor forest management AND CARBON.

The specific and solvable real cause is stated, but it's drowned out by the much louder official cause, which is universal and meaningless.
