My sister was born in Kent, late March in the 1970s - I was outside building a snowman!

Six foot snow drifts were not uncommon at that time in Kent. But even in Feb/Mar 2018, the so-called Beast From The East deposited huge snow drifts in Lincolnshire. We're not about to see the end of snow any time soon and my guess is that we're due a spell of colder winters, just like in the 60s and 70s.

Neat photo! She looks happy and excited the way a child would react to their first snowfall.

It's been two years since she last saw snow, so yes, she's like a kid at Christmas. My other dog is unimpressed by the white stuff!

Well this past hurricane season here in the US we were battered by more frequent, powerful storms that, mercifully, were accompanied by neither wind nor rain -- not even many clouds. But powerful they were.

California officials keep saying that over the last 15 years "California is in the Worst Drought in over 1000 years"

Just for a quick reference I checked the first 15 years (1969 to 1984) of Mammoth mountain snow totals, versus the most recent 15 years ending this year, with more snow coming daily.

First 15 years 4,968 inches of snow.

Last 15 years 5,825 inches of snow. (Worst drought in over one thousand years!)

The true climate history is that California had two droughts in the last 1000 years that each lasted over a century, one of them killing most of the oak trees. They would lie if the truth did them good.

Snow - 'the wrong kind of precipitation'. Heavy rain - the 'wrong kind of precipitation'.

"global warming killed off all the real snow and replaced it with fake ‘climate crisis’ snow".

Brilliant.
