Not that these false Christians would care at Canterbury, but

Nobel Prize winning physicist Ivar Giaever who stated in an update to the U.S. Senate Minority report for 2007 that “Global warming has become a new religion” and “I am a skeptic.” Later, in 20011, Giaver upped the ante by resigning from the American Physical Society, stating “"The claim … is that the temperature has changed from ~288.0 to ~288.8 degree Kelvin in about 150 years, which (if true) means to me is that the temperature has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this 'warming' period."

Later The Word Climate Declaration, signed by 300 scientists, said simply on page one: “There is no climate emergency.” 300 scientists signed this, including Dr. John Clauser, the co-winner of the 2022 Nobel Physics prize, the 2010 winner of the Wolf Prize in physics (second most prestigious after the Nobel in science) and one the world’s leading authorities on quantum mechanics, who blasted the fake “climate emergency” and said it was a “dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.”

Dr. Clauser is in a collective of around 120 scientists and researchers representing a broad range of climate science disciplines, including Dr. William Happer, Emeritus Professor at Princeton, which say studies of climate provided strong evidence that there is no climate crisis, with Happer adding CO2 concentrations would actually benefit the world. Dr. Happer is a proponent of the “saturation” hypothesis of warming gases such as CO2, where at certain levels, such gases become saturated in small bands of the infrared spectrum, and then their warming ability diminishes on a logarithmic scale (which is what the the 600 million-year geological record tells us… along with the fact that CO2 measurements have been up to 20 times higher than current atmospheric levels.Top Nobel physicist plus 300 world renowned scientist? So when to we “follow the science” and get in line with that “consensus” thing again??

I studied under JI Packer, and attended St Johns Shaunessy Anglican in Vancouver for years. A few years ago, before he died, Packer was thrown out of the church as he would not bow before the LGBT Nazis.

Of course, the United Church Canada moderator a few years ago denied ALL of the basic tenets of orthodox Christianity, and they even have Mohammed as an official prophet. Seriously. Go look it up.

The Church of England has been going down the pan for year -perhaps decades - now.

That hippy commie Druid Williams was bad enough, but the current ex-oil company executive is downright dire.

Aside from locking down the CofE at the one point since WWII when his congregation really could have done with some compassion and moral support and retiring to his retreat in France for the duration his support for the dwindling number of real practising Christians left in his clergy is atrocious, I always thought Pride was one of the Seven Deadly Sins, especially when related to certain sexual activities, not something to be celebrated by draping flags on altars.

Our cats have more Christian bones in their bodies than that pretentious, pontificating waste of oxygen Welby, the very epitome of whited sepulchres.

Off topic, but these 55 whales which beached in the UK, any wind farms in the neighbourhood? Worth reporting on! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-66220239

I've been discussing this on another site Gary. Acoustic surveying for wind farm development began in May this year just off the north west coast of Lewis. These whales stranded on the north east coast, which is just a few miles from the surveying area. Nobody is talking about the possible impact of wind farm development. Why?

So even the surveying can cause this? I found mention of potential impact on whales here https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/23637051.storm-brews-isle-lewis-offshore-windfarm/

Yes, even NOAA acknowledges that 'incidental harassment' of marine animals can occur during 'site characterisation surveys' and they have drawn up guidelines in order to try to minimise such 'harassment'.

Option if we can’t retrofit our amazing architecture of the Glory of the All Mighty, then we might just bulldoze history stones to the ground. But what is even scarier is not the buildings, but the congregation is the carbon breathing treacherous treason to the 911 emergency of climate crisis. What’s even scarier is she believes this crap, or is getting paid well to express such bull shit.

Pray they don’t bulldoze pray they don’t go killing any more of the congregation and pray she finds Jesus and corrects her sinful ways.

Considering that church was founded to serve the state, you should not be surprised.

It used to be that the church dictated to the state, then there was supposedly a separation of state and the church, now it seems the state dictates to the church how it must think and act.

Remember that church was founded to allow Henry the 8th to divorce. Not a very holy foundation. Even the name reveals who it served.

They always taught us separation of church and state, but that has never really happened.

Business makes strange bedfellows. The Church is convenient cover for Lucifer himself holding a Cross and leather briefcase counting gold coins and deciding just how best to create more control and power. Medical pandemics and climate crisis

Invisible enemies that confront us everyday.

The war on carbon is a war on us. Soon they will have a test to test how much carbon our cheeks

Can flesh out on to a poisonous swab.

What I would expect is the mind cancer of The $cience not "bulldozing" these religious institutions but instead joining them.

Remember the Covidians and their bizarre rites were embraced, not rejected, by the Catholic church.

There's this strange company called Terrapass that provides the Climate scam faithful to atone for their carbon sins. https://terrapass.com

I'd expect something similar available soon through churches around the world (i.e. to steal money for arbitrary carbon nonsense)

It’s ironic that with the internet creating the greatest democratisation of information in human history, we are in a sense entering a new Dark Age. Certain types of knowledge will be banned (government censorship), witch hunts of the non-believers (cancel culture) and promotion of scientific ignorance.

2000 years of Christianity; it even weathered the storm of the Age of Reason and managed to live in peace with science, but now it ends up becoming the poodle of fake science! Jeez. What an ignominious end.
