Here’s how it started, with the Met Office - of course.
That was yesterday morning, before the arrival of the not unusual or unprecedented deepening extratropical depression due to make its way across the British Isles - which the climate-industrial complex saw fit to name ‘Storm Darragh’ (so it sticks in our memories and we don’t easily forget it). Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
OMG. Stay indoors, don’t drive, strap down yer Christmas decorations!
‘Stay at home. Stay safe. Protect the emergency services.’
In other words, a climate lockdown. The government jumped on the opportunity to send the biggest extreme weather alert ever in the UK to 3 million people in Wales and SW England, who got a loud beeping noise on their phones - even if they were set to silent mode.
Says the BBC:
Around three million people in parts of Wales and south-west England have been sent an emergency alert from the government as Storm Darragh approaches the UK.
It is the largest use of the warning system yet and has been sent to the mobile phones of people in areas covered by the Met Office red weather warning for the storm.
The alert made a loud siren-like sound when it was delivered to devices, even if they were set on silent, and lasted for around 10 seconds.
The Met Office issued a rare red warning - the most serious type - earlier on Friday for wind. It is in place from 03:00 to 11:00 GMT on Saturday.
The government alert was sent to every compatible mobile phone in impacted areas, containing information about the warning and guidance on how to stay safe into Saturday.
It said Storm Darragh was expected to cause "significant disruption", warning that strong winds can cause flying debris, falling trees and large waves, "all of which can present a danger to life".
"Stay indoors if you can," the alert said. "It is not safe to drive in these conditions."
A Sky News reporter went one better, claiming that in 20 years of extreme weather reporting, she had never experienced anything like the gusts from Storm Darragh!
Stupid bint. But no, seriously, this was just one particularly idiotic episode in a disgraceful and unethical concerted media and Met Office campaign to big up the supposed ‘threat to life’ from Storm Darragh in order to nudge people into compliance with climate lockdowns by scaring the pants off us with a totally normal winter storm. This was not about public safety, it was about promoting the Net Zero agenda using scaremongering tactics - just like Covid measures had nothing whatsoever to do with public health.
Paul Homewood convincingly demonstrates that Darragh was not at all unusual or unprecedented.
Yet more dishonest reporting from the Met Office:
As usual they are using wind speeds in extremely exposed locations, such as Capel Curig which is high up in Snowdonia, or one of their favourites, Aberdaron:
No, the areas were not forecast to have 90mph gusts. Clearly the Met Office and the BBC are in this together, intent on defrauding the public.
The BBC’s report ends:
Scientists say as the Earth’s climate warms, extreme weather events will become more frequent.
What relevance does this have to Storm Darragh, other than to scare the public?
What the BBC refuse to tell viewers is that the storms of the 1980s and 90s were much more severe than anything seen since, which even the Met Office have been forced to admit:
Note that even before the garden furniture has been put back in place and the twigs raked off the lawn, the disgusting BBC is already plugging the extreme weather/climate change link.
I called the Met Office out on their red alert hype early this morning. Of course, they didn’t respond, but a few X users were quick to leap to their defence.
I look around every day and see things I'd never have thought I'd ever see, plus some I never even knew existed. What are we being told, and who's doing it? These have been answered, yet why? Why are we constantly on the receiving end of demonstrable nonsense? Some of which doesn't even take a data haul to refute....what absolute fanatics are in charge now(and I'm not referring to Starmer) - the real people driving this headlong rush to madness?
Have you lashed your decorations to the porch and do you have plenty of supplies for the duration of this incoming terror???
