Lahaina: Conspiracists Gonna Conspiracise
John Leake has written this update on the Maui fires, which has upset quite a few people:
There has been a lot of chatter on the internet that the Lahaina Fire was caused by a Directed Energy Weapon fired by malevolent globalist actors or their state lackeys. None of the witnesses with whom I have spoken have countenanced this theory. With tons of fuel piled up and wind gusting to 80 mph, ANY source of ignition—a downed power line, a cigarette, a homeless guy smoking crystal meth, or an arsonist with a cigarette lighter—is sufficient to start a firestorm.
Likewise, I’ve heard chatter about how the high pressure system to the north of the Hawaiian islands was induced by geo-engineering to coincide with the low pressure caused by Hurricane Dora to the south, thereby blasting Maui with high-speed winds at the height of fire season. I’m going to need to see supporting evidence before I can subscribe to this theory. I’ve spent several summers on Maui and have experienced trade winds gusting up to 45 mph while windsurfing on the North Shore in August. High pressure systems in the North Pacific happen every summer. In all likelihood, this one just happened to coincide with the low pressure to the south created by Dora. These macro systems were accentuated in Lahaina by katabatic wind descending from the West Maui Mountains in the late afternoon.

Aldous Huxtable sets a fine example of clear, rational, sane thinking (just 6 likes) but then he goes and spoils it all by ‘entertaining the idea’ of geoengineering (minus any evidence or plausible mechanism whatsoever). That second comment attracted 14 likes. You can’t get through to these people. They default to man-made disaster theorizing every time and simply cannot accept that Mother Nature herself and the laws of physics and chemistry acting in isolation from direct human interference might be responsible for a disaster.
Crazy. We live in seriously messed up times. So many people have lost the ability to critically analyse situations and weigh up evidence.
No, it is not that so many beleive in conspiracies, but that they are waking up to THE conspiracy...our government want's us dead or enslaved. Our govt is corrupt and incompetent, and is ruled by people we cannot see.
So I am giving them a break. At least they sense SOMETHING IS WRONG...finally.
Officials in Maui are saying that most of the missing or unaccounted for persons are children. Why did the schools in Lahaina send children home to be by themselves right before the fires while parents were still at work? It's almost as if it was some child sacrifice ritual. Or, was it because if the kids aren’t alive, they can’t make a claim and fight for their parents’ stolen land when they’re old enough to do so.
