Are they really that numerically illiterate?

* Unable to distinguish between 50 and 100%

* Unable to distinguish between a value and its rate of change

* Unaware of the absurdity of doubling the heat in the climate system (if you doubled the heat in your room, the temperature would go from 20C to over 300C).

But hey, they’re the anchor of the trusted news initiative, so believe them.

Both numerically and scientifically illiterate, they wouldn't know a Kelvin from a hole in the road.

I've watched glaciers steadily melt on mountains all over the world in just the 30+ years I've been climbing them.... So, sure maybe things are getting warmer.

But to tag that enormously complex change to human emissions of a gas comprising .04% of the atmosphere is just plainly stupid when clearly there would be thousands of variables involved.

Stop reading the BBC and the rest of Legacy Media.... let them die.

Climate change is actually a pagan version of earth worship- after all they attack Christianity and replace it with this cult, and they just gave Greta a doctorate in theology. As for big pharma it has been given so much power we have moved from a health and wellness system to a sickness industry. The “cures” are more often than not the cause of disease requiring increasing levels of pharmacological interventions, and of course profit. Profit is the one thing in common between climate change and pharmaceutical industry.

People like McGrath are paid to write such fearmongering false propaganda. It’s their job. We’ll probably never know if they actually believe it themselves. Maybe they have become “useful idiots” to their globalist paymasters through swallowing their own propaganda.

It reminds me of the quasi-religious beliefs of the Covid jab advocates: https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/vaccine-sceptics-the-modern-day-martyrs/.

"We may live in a largely secular age, but we have substituted belief in God for a belief in science, and most especially medical science, or what passes for it these days. We have come to worship Big Pharma with the kind of adoring reverence we used to reserve for God and Jesus, and this persists even when the so-called science fails us."

Exactly the same with the climate cultists who believe in the 'science' of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming. Science is not to be believed. It is to be investigated, probed, questioned, comprehended and, as is often the case, found wanting.

Good to see you back - hope your accounts have recovered.

It seems to be part of the human condition that we look for simple answers like 'vaccination' or 'anthropogenic climate change' - especially if they have grand names and are packaged up like dodgy financial instruments. We're so attached to these simplistic ideas that we're loathe to ditch them even when they conflict with the evidence of our senses and our measuring instruments. This predilection is an opportunity that is exploited by the ambitious and the greedy and it's hard to see how that might change.

You must have faith. Faith in humanity and faith in God who will not sit back and watch the innocent be wiped off the face of this beautiful planet he provided for us.

Thanks Jim. My bank has recovered all the money which was stolen. I've now reported the crime to the police. It's just a case of me setting up internet banking once again and rearranging stuff on my laptop after the new Windows installation. Very hard lesson learned.
