Some interesting developments in the world of AI, weather and climate change. The Climate Scam is over, according to Robert Malone and others:
Robert says on his substack:
On March 21, 2025, the Science of Climate Change journal published a ground-breaking study using AI (Grok-3) to debunk the man-made climate crisis narrative. Click on the link below for the paper titled: A Critical Reassessment of the Anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming Hypothesis:
This peer-reviewed study and literature review not only reassesses man's role in the climate change narrative it also reveals a general trend to exaggerate global warming.
Furthermore, this paper demonstrates that using AI to critically review scientific data will soon become the standard in both the physical and medical sciences.
I’m not convinced that it is over yet, as I explain in comments here and here:
It's worrying. The climate scam has been over for a long time, as far as the 'Settled Science' is concerned - real world evidence and published scientific research started driving the nails in its coffin years ago but it lives on as a Zombie Science because of huge amounts of Green Blob funding, universal support from institutional science and rampant censorship of alternative scientific views. But apparently, now that Grok 3 beta (with the help of some of those cute organic carbon-based units we used to call humans) has published a peer-reviewed literature survey, Grok 3 beta's Word is Gospel and the climate scam is reported to be officially over. Well I don't think it's over until the Fat Lady sings and I don't think the Fat Lady identifies as Grok 3 beta just yet!
It's an interesting, unique and valuable contribution to a large and growing body of data, scientific evidence and research (published by plain old boring humans!) which casts serious doubt on the man-made 'dangerous' global warming hypothesis, a corpus which, by now, should have driven the final nails into the coffin of 'settled' consensus climate science. But we all know why it lives on as Zombie Science - because of huge Green Blob funding, rampant censorship, and almost 100% media and institutional support.
There's lots of excitement among sceptics who seem to think that the word of Grok3 beta is gospel and unchallengeable and hence, in the words of Robert Malone on X for instance, "the Climate Scam is over". I think this is premature. It's not over until the fat lady sings - and I don't think Grok3 beta identifies as the Fat Lady just yet!
AI may not be ready yet to take on the role of the Fat Lady as far as the climate change settled science scam goes, but is Aardvark, with reference to AI generated weather prediction? The signs are a bit more promising I must admit. Tallbloke’s blog takes up the story:
The weather forecasts that people rely upon are currently generated through a complex set of stages, each taking several hours to run on bespoke supercomputers. Aside from daily usage, the development, maintenance and deployment of these complex systems requires significant time and large teams of experts.
More recently, research by Huawei, Google, and Microsoft has demonstrated that one component of this pipeline, the numerical solver (which calculates how weather evolves over time), can be replaced with AI, resulting in faster and more accurate predictions. This combination of AI and traditional approaches is now being deployed by the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts.
But with Aardvark, researchers have replaced the entire weather prediction pipeline with a single, simple machine learning model. The new model takes in observations from satellites, weather stations and other sensors and outputs both global and local forecasts.
This fully AI-driven approach means that predictions are now achievable in minutes on a desktop computer.
When using just 10% of the input data of existing systems, Aardvark already outperforms the United States national GFS forecasting system on many variables and it is also competitive with United States Weather Service forecasts that use input from dozens of weather models and analysis by expert human forecasters.
Is this the end for the supercomputer model-generated weather forecast? Is this the beginning of the democratization of weather forecasting, where anyone with a laptop and a link to real time weather data can generate their own personal forecasts using AI? That’s quite an alluring prospect. I might even be tempted to give an AI Aardvark credit where it is due if this happens!
I have always found that a piece of seaweed hanging outside is as good as the met office predictions. When it's wet, it's raining.
Love your title! thanks for publishing this. YES!!!!!
'course, the Green Blob is like a huge aircraft carrier that has some serious momentum behind it. It will take a while to stop it and get it turned around and going in the right direction. And the "right direction" for the Green Blob is to completely dissolve itself. Will it happen in our lifetimes?
