Macron looks set to reap what he sows after telling the French that they must endure rationing this winter in order to support Germany and he just made what is possibly the most stupid statement I have ever heard:
"Macron said French gas could help Germany to produce more electricity which, in turn, would allow Germany to contribute electricity to the French power grid during peak hours.
"We are going to complete the gas connections that will allow us to deliver gas to Germany," Macron told reporters after a video call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz."
So Macron intends to send French gas to Germany so Germany can produce electricity which they then export back to France during peak hours - which just happen to occur at the same time in both countries owing to the fact that they share a geographical border in northern Europe!
