This Sceptred Isle has been marked out for special treatment in the coming weeks. Here’s the forecast chart for Feb 20:
Then the 25th:
All that nasty stormy weather which the BBC laments has not been affecting the UK this winter, is diverted far north over Greenland and down into Scandinavia. The pattern continues to the end of February:
It seems that high pressure just wants to keep sitting directly over the UK at the moment, insulating us from more unsettled weather to the west, north and east. I blame Brexit.
It does mean though, that if you were hoping to charge your EV, boil your kettle, or wash your smalls using the ‘clean Green breezes that blow around these islands’, then you’re out of luck I’m afraid; it’s going to have to be ‘dirty’ old gas and coal - until such time as the government completely bans their use in the country so that we can single-handedly ‘save the planet’. Therefore, you can blame Brexit again for the lack of low carbon energy generation. If we hadn’t left the EU, none of this ‘far right separatist’ weather would be happening.
On the bright side though, settled weather in the Channel means they can bring over lots more illegal immigrants.
Cheers Jaime.
I'm always surprised they don't also blame the so called "alt right" or even Trump for the weather, state of the roads, energy prices, immigrant rapes, etc.
Oh. Wait. Liverpool did blame the "far right".
My bad.
