It wasn’t sufficient for our haughty professor apparently:
Such indignation! Such hurt! The poor Professor has had to put up with 5 whole days of “climate change idiots masturbating” on his X timeline! Tragic. And where’s his apology for having to endure such gross opprobrium, insults and infamy?
Roger Pielke Jr. is apparently one of those masturbating climate change idiots too (either that, or he’s been encouraging them to attack poor Paul):
But seriously, masturbating aside, and in spite of my most recent gripes about not being able to get any traction on X, I miraculously managed to get a reply to my tweet to him this morning, which is a real accomplishment.
So, Paul Williams is claiming that wind speed and shear are “mathematically independent” which strikes me as rather an odd turn of phrase. Does this mean that they are also “physically independent” under all circumstances? Also, note that he says that shear at cruising altitudes can increase without wind speed increasing. He’s probably correct, but I don’t think this necessarily implies that wind speed and shear are necessarily and always independent. Anyway, I’m still waiting for a further reply to my response to his first reply. We shall see.
God, I'm glad I'm not on Twitter/X/Y/Z ....!
Ok. Will review. Thanks!
