Looks like our European friends aren’t happy sharing ‘clean’ power with their neighbours when the wind ain’t blowing! A severe case of Dunkelflaute blues. But don’t let that stop Mad Bad Miliband:
In the next 5 years, those hugely expensive sub-sea interconnectors, supposedly built to ensure the ‘security’ of supply of ‘clean, green’ energy, will be more and more restricted by national governments seeking to ensure the security of their own supply during wind droughts - if they’re not blown up by the Russians or the Chinese first of course (at least Biden won’t be around to ‘put an end to them’ by then). We will have to rely exclusively upon imported gas after the UK banned fracking, blew up coal fired power stations, and wound down nuclear. Also, by then, the North Sea oil and gas industry will have folded thanks to Milibrain and Rachel from Complaints, so there won’t even be any gas flowing from the North Sea.
Mad Ed and his get-rich-quick Green cronies will be raking it in as the government rides roughshod over local planning laws in order to carpet farm fields with hideous wind turbines and solar panels, so they’ll be bragging about ‘100% clean energy’ on the days when the wind is blowing and the sun is shining. But during dark, cold, winter Dunkelflautes, we will still be having to rely upon more than 70% gas generation in order to keep the lights on, as I wrote here:
The reason that peak fossil fuels usage is not changing is simple: the low hanging fruit from 2009 onwards has all been picked and without grid scale storage (which technology does not exist and which would be hideously expensive even if it were technologically feasible using super efficient, ultra high capacity batteries and/or ‘Green’ hydrogen) they are never going to be able to eliminate the need for fossil fuel back up due to the fundamental variability of natural weather, however much capacity they add. Because when the sun don’t shine at night or during the winter, you can’t make it shine and, despite the claims of the geoengineering conspiracy peeps, when the wind ain’t blowing, it ain’t blowing, and that’s that.

But I don't believe their actions boil down to incompetence or stupidity. They genuinely hate us, and would like nothing better than to freeze us to death in our homes, flood our countries with foreign criminals, have our children raped, mutilated and murdered, destroy anything that resembles a homogeneous population that can stand up to them.
They are evil incarnate, and we need to shout from the rooftops so that everyone understands. The entire political (psychopaths), academic (cowards and failures lacking the skills and ability to earn an honest living) and public sector (parasites) class is rotten from top to bottom.
We should do everything that we can to make their lives a living hell, the same hell they wish upon us.
The idea that international interconnectors are a solution to “climate change” was always delusional. The main reason the Uniparty (including the treasonous Tories) pushed them was because the imported electricity was deemed by false assertion to be “emissions free”, as distinct from reality.
