This looks interesting. High pressure over Scandinavia and high pressure out to the west in the Atlantic, bringing bitterly cold Arctic northerly winds across the UK. We could see some snow. It wouldn’t surprise me. Snow 10 days before Christmas, then it warms up and and rains on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We haven’t had a proper white Christmas for years.

Snow in Scotland in December? You're pulling my leg!
I visited Paris for Christmas then London for New Years back in 2019. The weather was perfect! Clear and cold with no rain nor snow. Good luck for a white Christmas this year.
