Net Zero Is Now No Longer Relevant
Zeke Hausfather is concerned. June looks very much like it will set another monthly global temperature record - in the absence of El Nino:
Oh dear. If it wasn’t a “weird” El Nino which started this remarkable 12 month run of record warm months, then what was it? Must be something “ominous”. Must be “uncharted territory”.
A couple of commenters are pointing out the obvious. If we hardly know the climate system and we’ve broken it already, then what’s the point of all the sophisticated, expensive climate models and the Net Zero mitigation policy? Hilarious. The climatastrophists appear to have snookered themselves.
Of course! It’s too late for Net Zero. The only thing to do now is to hack the planet with geoengineering. Not so hilarious. They’re insane enough to try.
Yep, the public are waking to the scam of Net Zero so the next instalment of the narrative is direct action. At some point thw public will need to adopt direct action.
