The far Left continue to deny it of course, but fascism, which had its roots in Mussolini’s Italy, is a national socialist ideology, just as Nazism was. All that’s changed with the modern far Left is they’ve ditched the nationalism and embraced globalism big time, plus they’ve blurred the distinction between Communism and fascism to create an ocean-going form of WEF-inspired technocratic medico-fascism/eco-communism which empowers corporate entities beyond the reach of national democracies to dictate to governments (and hence their populations) using stakeholder capitalism as the weapon. The EUSSR is a prime example - and they’re getting rather worried about the ongoing rejection of their far Left anti-nationalist, anti-democratic, federal European state by ‘far right’ nationalists. First Brexit, then Hungary, then Sweden. The Italian ‘boot’ in the Brussels genitals has now made their eyes water.
Ursula Fond O’ Lyin’ on Italy’s elections: “If things go in ze wrong direction, ve haf tools . . . . . “
The water melons at the BBC (Delingpole’s term, i.e. Green on the outside, Red on the inside), along with other left wing MSM commentators, think that Meloni is basically the reincarnation of Mussolini in drag.
“It's an incongruous origin for a politician now in pole position to become Italy's first far-right prime minister since Benito Mussolini.
The fascist label is something that Giorgia Meloni vehemently rejects. Speaking in English, Spanish and French in a recent video, she insisted it had consigned the ideology to history.
But history is part of the problem in a country which had no equivalent of Germany's de-Nazification after the war, allowing fascist parties to reform. Founded in 2012, Brothers of Italy has its political roots in the Italian Social Movement (MSI), which rose from the ashes of Mussolini's fascism.”
‘Populism’, (i.e. people voting for what they want and getting it) and the rejection of left wing socialist, anti-democratic globalist politicians, contrary to what the press and the powers that be might think, is most definitely not ‘far right’ it is simply ‘right’ in the eyes of the people who’ve been forced to endure life under increasingly autocratic and now technocratic left wing regimes voted in on false promises, who have ignored their democratic mandates in favour of imposing corporate globalism on their populaces.
Update:
Meloni in action. She is a very powerful, very eloquent speaker, and can generate genuine passion, both from within herself and in the audience she is addressing. She is obviously a genuine, committed conservative and this is why the globalists and the Left are so afraid of her. The Italians are blessed. All we’ve got in the UK is Liz Truss, God help us.
Very insightful and interesting. LOL on the "watermelon". Synchronously, I have also been writing about hybrid dystopias today - my take on the fascist-communists or green-hybrid monsters is a Orwellian-Huxleyian playbook hybrid https://garysharpe.substack.com/p/how-to-avoid-a-hybrid-orwellian-huxleyian
