After hesitating for some months, Springer has now officially retracted the paper:

So we can now say with certainty that the alleged ‘climate crisis’ truly does not exist, because why else would a so called ‘respectable’ academic publisher bow to the will of climate activist journalists and alleged ‘scientists’ to censor a paper which has already passed peer review, simply because it sends the ‘wrong’ message to the public? This is how science is done these days.
Back in my activist days we used to silence dissent. Nowt has changed except the methodology has infected almost everything.
