"I warned Farage about the Fascism that has attacked him – But he attacked Me!" by Rodney Atkinson
"The Nazi-Fascist Origins of the EU Superstate"
I thank UK Column’s Alex Thomson for sharing the following article by political economist, Rodney Atkinson who specialises in the EU and British Constitutions.
I WARNED FARAGE ABOUT THE FASCISM THAT HAS ATTACKED HIM – BUT HE ATTACKED ME!

The attack on Nigel Farage, the former UKIP and Brexit Party leader (and former leader of a faction in the European Parliament) by the banks of Britain which have denied him a commercial bank account is a classic case of unaccountable, politicised, corporate power which is the hallmark of Fascism. (After complaint he has been permitted to retain his personal bank account with his bank of 40 years!). No reasons were given other than these were “commercial decisions”.
For 30 years I have been warning of the rise of corporatist fascism and EU imperialism and the appeasement of openly Nazi movements in Ukraine, Bosnia and Croatia, the Spanish attack on Catalonian democracy, the abolition of democratic sovereignty in European nation states, the unelected puppet leaders of the West and the privileged and dominant role of multi national corporations over consumers and voters.**
In 2000 I stood for the leadership of UKIP and came a close second, but only after Nigel Farage had a letter circulated to members by two Sunday Telegraph journalists accusing me of being a “conspiracy theorist” for describing the EU as corporatist fascist. Farage today openly admits that it could be a still existing EU regulation – the “politically exposed Person” rules which have condemned him. Like so many vaguely defined but potentially catastrophic laws the PEP gives enormous scope for selective application according to politics.
Well perhaps Nigel will believe me now – 23 years later!
The essence of a corporatist fascist society is:
– a combination of State socialist (victims rarely on the Left) and big business power
the dominance of state and corporate power, unresponsive to parliament and voters
– restrictions on personal and commercial freedom without knowing the cause
– and so without recourse to appeal to the courts
– arbitrary law, (applied to some but not others according to political stance)
– law applied without democratic legal authority (by corporations, banks, as here)
All these seem to have applied to Nigel Farage who had his bank accounts closed by a bank he had been with for over 40 years and 7 other banks refused him an account. It is impossible to live in a society or conduct commercial activity (ie earn a living) without a bank account. Nigel Farage was given no reason.
He was accused in 2018 by the cowardly Labour MP for Rhondda (under parliamentary privilege so he could not be sued) of having received some half a million pounds from Russian sources. The sum was the total of Farage’s bank account flows at the time, not what he had received for two interviews on RT (Russia today) in 2016 and 2017. This was not illegal and was long before the Ukraine war and Bryant did not object to the SNP’s Alex Salmond being paid for his programme on RT.
A bit late in the day (after other Establishment-challenging figures like Laurence Fox, Katie Hopkins (no bank, no home) and Toby Young had been similarly victimised) the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has warned banks they must protect free speech and not act against customers on the grounds of their political beliefs. But mere warnings are a pathetic response. Legal action and fines should be imposed and the original accounts re-instated. Otherwise the potential threat of such actions against anyone constitutes a continuous oppression – typical of all totalitarian regimes.
Equally vicious of course is the removal of business accounts and the refusal to give reasons on the spurious grounds that financial institutions cannot tell customers anything to alert them about an investigation (“anti tipping off” law) but having lost their account everyone will have been “tipped off”!!! See Dominic Lawson’s account of how even the granddaughter of a former Chancellor of the Exchequer was denied an account! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12256943/Its-not-just-Nigel-Farage-daughter-blocked-opening-bank-account.html
Having warned about the rise of corporatism (and its long history of being the basis of fascist and nazi regimes) for over 30 years – with a specific warning to the British Conservative Party in 1990 about many failed corporatised monopolistic privatisations during the 1980s – today’s events are no surprise to me.
Pity you did not wake up earlier, Nigel! The battle now will be all the harder.
** for those who cannot understand the dangerous state of our society or the Ukraine war with its hundreds of thousands of deaths these books are indispensable to understanding how Europe and the UK have embraced fascist authoritarianism and a return to the wars of the 1930s and 1940s: https://freenations.net/rodney-atkinson-publications-books/
Rodney Atkinson’s comments remind me once again that one of the many reasons why I voted for Brexit was as a result of the information I found about the Nazi originations of the EU, whilst doing deep research in order to make a truly informed decision about how to vote in the EU Referendum.
The following is one of many articles with information about this reality.
Please first watch the video created with a speech made by Rodney Atkinson during a public meeting at the Houses of Parliament 26 February 20018. In his speech, Rodney provides details of “The Nazis and Fascists Who Founded the European Union and Their Influence Today.”
The EU is the Fourth Reich.

The Nazi-Fascist Origins of the EU Superstate

Now that the one year anniversary of the Ukraine/Russia has passed, it is time to once again review the fascist roots of the EU. British journalist Ambrose Evans-Pritchard provided a key piece of the puzzle with this important expose’ article tracing the covert planning, manipulation, and financing of post-WWII European federalism to top tiers of the American intelligence establishment (which interlocked with key Wall Street investment banks and financial institutions, the major foundations which acted as covert funding mechanisms for these projects, the elite mainstream media which provided disinformation and cover for the endeavor, and entities of the foreign policy establishment such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Atlantic Council.
Other respected British Euro-Skeptic researchers have also presented their evidence which traces this collectivist impetus to its National Socialist and Fascist origins. Political economist Rodney Atkinson has composed three major volumes on this subject of the European Union, Treason at Maastricht (with Norris McWhirter); And Into The Fire; Europe’s Full Circle: Corporate Elites and the New Fascism; and classical liberal John Laughland in his The Tainted Source: The Undemocratic Origins of the European Idea.
At the center of the European Union is the story of the economic rise and domination of post-War Europe by Germany.
After the World War II, veteran CBS reporter Paul Manning undertook an investigation of Hitler’s Deputy, Martin Bormann, and the postwar capital network he ran, in considerable measure, at the encouragement of Edward R. Murrow. Partially underwritten by CBS, the story of the Bormann organization proved too sensitive for the network to report.
Manning notes in his powerful book, Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile, (.pdf copy):
A decisively powerful network of corporate entities run by hardened SS veterans, the Bormann group constitutes what one veteran banker termed “the greatest concentration of money power under a single control in history.” The foundation of the organization’s clout is money—lots and lots of money. Controlling German big business and, through investments, much of the rest of the world’s economy, the organization was the repository for the stolen wealth of Europe, estimated by British intelligence to have totaled more than $180 billion by the end of 1943 (not including the money taken from Greece and the former Soviet Union, nor that taken after 1943).
In addition to the enormous power deriving from its consummate economic clout, the Bormann group has wielded tremendous global influence through its intelligence and enforcement network. Administered by SS general Heinrich Mueller, the wartime head of the Gestapo, the Bormann group’s intelligence and security network was composed of some of the toughest, most capable veterans of the SS. In addition, the Bormann organization and Mueller’s security outfit have commanded the loyalty of the political, intelligence and military elements requisitioned by the Allies after the war. In that regard, the Bormann/Mueller operation could draw on the loyalties of the Reinhard Gehlen spy outfit that handled the CIA’s intelligence on the former Soviet Union and which ultimately became the intelligence service of the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, Bormann and Mueller were the political masters of the numerous scientists recruited by the U.S. and other nations for their expertise during the Cold War, as well as the numerous Nazis brought into the U.S. under the auspices of the Crusade For Freedom. Those latter ultimately coalesced into a major element of the Republican Party.
With its economic, political and espionage capabilities, the Bormann group embodies the triumph of the forces of National Socialism in the postwar period. Whereas the United States was the dominant element within the international cartel system prior to, and during, World War II, the Bormann group is the primary entity in the postwar global corporate economy.
The organization’s clout has successfully obscured its existence in the face of journalistic investigation. Compare the “official” fate of Bormann (supposedly killed at the end of the war) with demonstrable historical fact, as researched by Manning. Relating information from the FBI’s file on Bormann, Manning writes: “ . . . The file revealed that he had been banking under his own name from his office in Germany in Deutsche Bank of Buenos Aires since 1941; that he held one joint account with the Argentinian dictator Juan Peron, and on August 4, 5 and 14, 1967, had written checks on demand accounts in first National City Bank (Overseas Division) of New York, The Chase Manhattan Bank, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., all cleared through Deutsche Bank of Buenos Aires. . .
Naziism was only temporarily defeated militarily. Thanks to operation Paperclip in the US and the Bormann Group, it’s alive and well. Oh, and Farage is a blowhard and an idiot. Always was.
And now, utilising the ideological foundation left behind on the collapse of the USSR and its clandestine underpinnings in Western society - especially academia - the Chinese Communist Party has sneaked up and scooped the pool - on both sides of the Atlantic...
