I Need To Take A Break For A While
Unfortunately I’ve just been scammed out of a large amount of money I can ill afford to lose. I’ll be spending the next few weeks trying to set up internet banking again and changing all my online passwords, as well as sorting out the security on my laptop. I’ve already done a clean reinstall of Windows and run Malware detection exhaustively but I’m stll not happy.
Having your computer hacked and your bank account cleaned out is like psychological rape without the physical assault. It’s devastating and I feel so goddamn stupid for being taken in by these scammers. Hat tip: if anyone phones you up saying your router is not performing as it should be and they need to run some tests, slam the phone down!

Thank you for the comments everyone. The VERY good news is that my bank managed to stop the larger payment so it's just the much smaller payment which went through and they're chasing that up to see if they can get it refunded. So after a sleepless night I am very relieved. Now just got to make absolutely sure my laptop is squeaky clean before I can do any banking or online payments or too much online at all really.
That's nice. Someone just disabled their email. Makes me feel a whole lot better.
