From 'Kids Just Won't Know What Snow Is' To 'This Is Not Like A Snow Day When You Were A Kid' - Climate Change Is Causing 'Breakthrough' Record Winter Freezes!

The Climate crisis fraternity are an exercise in the supreme art of unchallengeable self-parody. Try as we might, with biting wit and sarcasm, to send them up Monty Python style, all we need do is simply report on their latest machinations, sit back and enjoy the howls of derision, the chorus of belly laughs, the crescendos of hysterical, eye-watering laughter, whilst being careful not to drink tea or coffee lest we involuntarily expel it across our keyboards and screens.

I predicted they would move to blame the latest winter storm in the US on ‘climate change’:

But I couldn’t possibly have foreseen how extremely amusing and record-breakingly absurd their efforts to do so would turn out to be. This article appeared on Christmas Eve and it really is a howler. Firstly, it quotes the National Weather Service:

This storm is “a once-in-a-generation type event”

Huh? What does that even mean? Is it a once in a generation event, which would mean it last happened a generation ago, or is it a once in a generation type event, an event which seemingly closely resembles a once in a generation event but is in fact not, technically speaking, a once in a generation event? I don’t know.

Then the author goes on to quote Sniffer Biden who says:

“This is not like a snow day when you were a kid,” President Joe Biden warned Thursday in the Oval Office after a briefing from federal officials. “This is serious stuff.”

You see, it’s not normal snow, like when you were a kid (a generation ago), this is new normal snow, ‘serious stuff’. Presumably it’s the non-existent snow which Professor David Viner, of the University of East Anglia, warned us about 22 years ago in 2000 when he infamously said:

“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is”

Well, perhaps he meant just British kids, not American kids, who definitely know what ‘serious’ snow looks like this winter, which is not what snow looked like when their parents were young, according to Biden, but which is what snow used to look like a generation ago according to our intrepid journalist above - at least, it’s the same type of snow from a generation ago. That’s all clear then.

But that’s not the end of the hilarity. It gets better. Because, in the age of the Covid ‘vaccines’, we’ve learned about so-called ‘rare breakthrough infections’ which happen when the ‘safe and effective’ vaccines turn out not to be quite as, er, effective as we were led to believe and then it turns out that these breakthrough infections are not as rare as we were led to believe, in fact as it turns out, they are common, so flipping common in fact that if you got jabbed, you’re actually more likely to suffer a ‘breakthrough infection’ than if you hadn’t got jabbed with the ‘safe and effective’! Comprende?

Now, in December 2022, post Covid ‘vaccine’ shenanigans (just), we learn about a new but surprisingly similar scientific phenomenon, courtesy of the man-made climate crisis:

There are a couple of factors at work when it comes to climate change and winter weather.

For sure, winters overall are getting milder and shorter, but that doesn’t mean intense snowstorms and record-breaking frost won’t break through. And when they do hit, regions may find themselves having grown more complacent due to the warming trends.

Aha! We have the breakthrough record-breaking frosts and winter storms which are in fact caused by global warming ‘immunising’ us against severe winter weather in general. Geddit?

For one, as the warming atmosphere traps water vapor deeper and deeper into the calendar year, that precipitation leads to heavier snowfall when the temperatures do drop.

Another factor is the rapidly warming Arctic, which some scientists believe is weakening the jet stream and causing disruptions of the polar vortex.

The polar vortex refers to bands of wind and low air pressure near the North Pole, which normally lock cold air over Arctic. When those bands break down, icy air can escape south in the form of freezing winters, EarthJustice detailed.
