So impressed were curators at the Tate Modern with the new improved Mona Lisa at the Louvre that they have offered the famous French gallery an undisclosed sum to purchase the painting and display it in London’s Tate Modern gallery.
It is also believed that they have offered the two talented climate activist artists (pictured) a contract to produce similar works of art in the future.
Normally the Louvre is so crowded it’s difficult to get close to view the Mona Lisa. This stunt was arranged so the ‘artists’ had a free run at the painting and none of the museum staff tried to stop them.
