A Win For Common Sense, Science And Facts? Biden Doesn't Mention Climate Once In His Maui Speech

Was he going to do so, but decided against it because of the considerable prior pushback from many sources which seriously questioned the linkage with climate change and which highlighted the serious failings of the authorities, the simple role of the weather and the proliferation of non-native grasses as overwhelmingly responsible for this tragedy? We’ll never know, but we can chalk this up as a victory for common sense nonetheless. Biden also didn’t mention DEWs or weather modification or geoengineering. Well he wouldn’t would he, given that those are covert government operations (according to those promoting these as causes of the Maui wildfires, especially the Lahaina blaze)!

Yesterday, we published what we thought might be a speech by Biden in Maui announcing a “climate emergency”. The goal of that was to pre-empt the White House by catching them off-guard, and hope it might have an impact due to the factual commentary we provided.

I’ll never know if we did or did not have an impact. But one thing is clear – in his actual speech, he didn’t mention the word “climate” once. I’ll take it as a win, no matter how it came to be.
