At least the Dutch got a chance to vote in a candidate implacably opposed to the extremist far left - Geert Wilders. The Germans have got AfD. Many other European nations have a viable right wing opposition. The Americans have Trump and RFK as an alternative to The Bidet. All we’ve got are the fake Conservatives, woke, stupid, metro-luvvie dominated Marxist Labour and the ‘opposition’ party Reform UK led by uninspiring lukewarm centrist Richard Tice.
British PM Rishi Sunak has just called a snap general election for the 4th of July - American Independence Day. Sunak was parachuted into position as PM with just one job - to hand over the baton to Labour in order to finish what 14 years of sopping wet Tory rule (and ‘New’ Labour before that) started, i.e. the destruction of UK PLC. He’s done it brilliantly so far. Labour intend to see it through if they are elected. Expect the first thing Mad Marxist Miliband to do is rip up new oil and gas licences in the North Sea - in order to single-handedly save the planet from an imaginary Thermageddon.
It looks like the UK is well and truly fooked, barring a miracle of a hung Parliament and millions of spoilt ballot papers saying ‘None of the Above’. There are a few solid independents worth voting for - not least Andrew Bridgen. So my advice is, if you are totally disillusioned and you don’t want to vote for any of the useless mainstream parties and there is no solid independent candidate standing, then still get out and send the powers that be a message - by spoiling your ballot paper by crossing all candidates out and writing ‘None of the Above’ below. Failing that, riot when a majority Labour government starts putting millions out of work and trashes the economy almost overnight, whilst re-ordering society along hard left socialist/Marxist principles, making you wonder whether you would have been better off emigrating to North Korea, Venezuela or China.
Update: 23rd May
farage has decided not to lead the Reform Party into the UK election, leaving Tice in charge, so no big boost in appeal for the Uniparty opposition then.
Not sure where I first heard this but it really does sum up our choice for UK - “Two cheeks on the same arse!!” God help us!!!!
Vote Reform UK - there is some genuine bottom-up enthusiastic feet-on-the-ground salt-of-the-earth activist stuff going on... and yes, perhaps Tice needs to step it up a gear, but don't fall into the normie trap of judging a book by its cover.
And if you happen to live in Twickenham... a vote for Reform UK is a vote for me!!
